Project Description
Dear friends and supporters of WFFNAM.org,
We need your help! We have an ambitious goal: We want to set up 10 solar systems with energy storage for Vietnamese minorities. With this we want to enable the people in rural areas of Vietnam to have a clean, safe and sustainable energy supply.
Why are solar panels so important in rural areas of Vietnam? Vietnam is a dynamic emerging country with almost 100 million inhabitants. The country’s energy needs have grown rapidly in recent years, leading to power shortages and pollution. The government has announced a national renewable energy strategy, but implementation is still a long way off. Especially in the remote regions, where many ethnic minorities live, there is a lack of a reliable power supply. This affects people’s quality of life, educational opportunities and economic development.
Solar systems can improve this situation. They are inexpensive, environmentally friendly and independent of the national power grid. They can provide light, warmth, cooling and communication to people. They can also increase agricultural production by operating irrigation systems or cold storage. They can even generate income by selling or renting out excess electricity to others.
We at WFFNAM.org have experience installing solar panels for Vietnamese minorities. We work closely with local communities to assess their needs and provide them with the training and maintenance they need. We also have strong partners like Boviet Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of solar modules in Vietnam, who support us in the planning and implementation of our projects.
However, to achieve our goal, we need your financial support. Each solar system with energy storage costs around 27,500 euros. That means we need a total of 275,000 euros to install 10 systems. That may sound like a lot, but it’s an investment in the future of thousands of people who wouldn’t otherwise have access to electricity.
Please donate to our project today! Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small. You can donate online.
We thank you for your generosity and your commitment to a better world. With your help, we can give the Vietnamese minorities a bright future.
Sincerely,
Your WFFNAM.org team
